#15 CHELSEA BOTTA

This is Chelsea Botta’s first year with the New England Mutiny. Botta was a Massachusetts ODP starter for 4 years and Region 1 ODP player. Her club team, FC Stars of Mass, is a top 10 nationally ranked team winning several nationally recognized tournaments and contending in the semi-finals of Region 1.

A senior captain and MVP at East Longmeadow High School, Botta led her team to its first playoff appearance in 6 years.  She was a Division I All-State, All-Western Mass, and All-Star pick in 2008 after recovering from season-ending injuries during both her sophomore and junior years.  Botta will play at Division I Marist College in the Fall of 2009.
