#17 BECKY GUNDLING

Becky Gundling will be coming back for her fourth season with the Mutiny, alongside her college & club teammates Meghan Cunningham and Erin Clark. Becky had another consistent season for the 11-8-2 UConn Huskies, starting 20 of the 21 matches. Another player accustomed to the first eleven, Gundling started every match for the Mutiny during the Summer 2008-09 seasons.

In her first season at UConn in 2007, she played 369 out of 382 minutes in four NCAA Tournament games, as UConn reached the National Semifinals (19 starts in 21 contests). For that impressive run of play, Gundling was named to the All-New England Second Team by the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA).

Becky also has four years of experience as a member of the Connecticut ODP Team (2002-06), and as a member of the Region I ODP team. Along with teammate Erin Clark, Becky won three State Cup Championships from 2004-2006.

Gundling had an outstanding soccer career at Farmington H.S. where she was a 3-time All-State, All-Conference & All-Academic selection. In indoor track, she was an All-State selection, the Class L State Champion & the state record holder in the sprint medley relay from 2003-05.
