#5 DANIELLE DAKIN

Danielle Dakin has the distinction of being the youngest player ever signed in franchise history- coming to the Mutiny last season as just a sophomore in high school. Dakin is one of the rising stars in the Massachusetts soccer scene. She is currently a member of the Minnechaug H.S. varsity team and will look to gain more experience in her second season with the Mutiny. Dakin capped off her junior year of high school by earning several awards. She was selected to the All New England Team (2007), the All-State Team (2007), and the All Western Massachusetts First Team- All Scholastic Team (2006, 2007). She is also a member of the Region I ODP Team, where she had the opportunity to play in England and Holland. Not only has Dakin been successful on the soccer field, she has also been able to accomplish a lot in the classroom. Danielle is a member of the National Honor Society and currently has a 3.94 GPA. She has made a verbal commitment to play at the University of Connecticut in the Fall of 2009.
