#22 COURTNEY SANDS

Courtney Sands returns to the Mutiny for the summer 2009. Sands anchored the defense for the Mutiny in 2004 & 2005, while also playing at the University of Connecticut. Recently, she has spent her time working towards a degree in law.

Courtney played a large role in UConn’s defense during the Fall 2003, lifting the Huskies to the College Cup Final. Prior to her collegiate career, she was a member of the Connecticut ODP team and a high school standout as she was named All-State and All-County twice and All-Conference three times.
