You will find that our staff is comprised of successful coaches at all levels, teachers and players who have reached the pinnacle of the sport of soccer. It is unparalleled in the arena of youth development.
As a player, "Dogg" helped lead the Mutiny to a second consecutive appearance in the 2008 WPSL Final Four, after winning the East Final over Tony DiCicco's undefeated SoccerPlus CT side. In 2007, Lauren played in all 12 regular season games in her third season with New England. In the 2007 WPSL Final Four held in Tampa, FL, Molinaro was selected to the All-Tournament Team.
A 2001 graduate of UConn, Lauren played for four consecutive Big East champions while tallying 66 career points (22 goals, 22 assists). She was another player that came to the Mutiny via the WUSA route. The former NSCAA & Soccer Buzz All-Northeast Region selection was selected by the Bay Area Cyber Rays in the 3rd Round of the WUSA Supplemental Draft in 2001.
Professionally, Jenny holds a degree in Elementary Education, serving as a teacher in the Western Massachusetts school system. Jenny Maurer has reached one of the highest levels in American soccer as she was selected to play for the United States Under-23 Women's National Team.
After her senior season in high school at East Longmeadow, Jenny was selected NSCAA/adidas Massachusetts Girls Soccer Player of the Year. Maurer started in every match in 2004 for the Mutiny, after achieving both levels for New England during Summer 2003: playing in five matches for the senior team (including the National Semifinal in San Francisco, CA); while leading the U-17 team to the Div. I National Championship (held in Indianapolis, IN).
The greatest testament to Erin's dedication to the organization came during the 2008 WPSL National Championship. After missing the WPSL Semifinal match on Saturday due to her own wedding, the former Erin O'Grady flew to Tampa to play in the WPSL Final the next day. Erin also played professionally for the Boston Breakers of the WUSA.
"Grady" was a FIrst Team All-American for Syracuse University in 1998 & 2000 and was inducted into that University's Hall of Fame in 2006. Erin was an assistant coach at Assumption College in 2001 & 2002 and also serves as Girls Director of Coaching for the Enfield Soccer Club. Erin Gatto graduated with a degree in Elementary Special Education and she is currently a teacher at Glastonbury Elementary School.
Mary-Frances played professionally for the Philadelphia Charge and Boston Breakers of the WUSA. In 2005, she played professionally in Sweden with KIF Obrero under current U.S. Women's National Team coach Pia Sundhage. In college, M-F was a four-time All-American at UConn & UCLA and a 3-time Hermann Trophy & M.A.C. Award candidate - honors which are given to the best collegiate female player in the country.
During her freshman season at UConn, she set the single-season scoring record with 65 points and earned Freshman of the Year honors that season. M-F also represented the United States at the youth & senior levels, starting in the Nordic Cup for the U-21 National Team that won the championship in Germany. Later that year, she made her debut for the senior U.S. Women's National Team in Australia.
Overall, Mary-Frances earned nine caps, starting in six games alongside Mia Hamm for the United States. In high school, she led Northport High School to the New York State Championship in 1996. Mary-Frances Monroe is NASM certified as a personal trainer and holds a USSF "C" coaching license. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology at UCLA.
